Seniors Against Fraud - Who are we?

There are various websites available providing information about fraud, from those that are country-specific and run by Governments and consumer associations to other forum similar to ours that are run by groups of volunteers, so who are we and why did we decide to create yet another anti-scam forum?

We are a group of 4 seniors with backgrounds in law enforcement and have known each other for many years after working together in various capacities. As seniors ourselves, we have friends and family of similar ages that have been targeted by criminals or have come to us for advice about possible fraud. So, we decided to put our knowledge and skills to use helping others in our situation.

We won't be detailing exactly who we are or where we are from as we do not want to become targets of retribution from dangerous criminals.

My colleagues will no doubt introduce themselves over the next few weeks as we start to build up the forum, but I will start of by introducing myself Larry R. I am the forum admin and take care of the day to day technical running of the forum. My background is in digital forensics and cybercrime and I am based somewhere on the east coast of the USA.
